Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Build and assemble plumbing fixtures, including sinks, toilets, and water heaters.
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues or necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and electricians, to ensure seamless project completion.
- Lift heavy materials and equipment as required during installations or repairs.
Position Qualifications
- Proven experience in plumbing or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading is essential for understanding project specifications.
- Experience with heavy lifting and manual labor is necessary for performing various tasks on the job site.
- Proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools safely is required.
Additional qualifications:
- Must have your own tools.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must have a a good driving record.
- Must be self-motivated and able to troubleshoot.
- Must have the ability to read blueprints is essential.
- Must be willing to travel.
