Cody Barrs

Owner

Barrs Plumbing was founded in 1999 by licensed Master Plumber Mark Barrs. Cody Barrs began working alongside his father while still in high school, gaining hands-on experience as part of a two-man crew and developing his skills as a tradesman from a very young age. In 2004, at just 18 years old, Cody passed the State of Florida plumbing examination and became a licensed Master Plumber—making him the youngest person in the state at the time to obtain a Master Plumbing License. 

Since taking the reins, Cody has grown Barrs Plumbing from a modest two-man operation into a 30+ employee powerhouse, providing comprehensive services throughout North Central Florida. Under his leadership, the company has expanded its capabilities to serve both residential and commercial customers, offering expert plumbing, well drilling, and water conditioning services. 

Driven by a passion for construction, business, and entrepreneurship, Cody continues to push Barrs Plumbing forward with a focus on quality workmanship, dependable service, and meeting the evolving needs of the community. 

Whitney Barrs

Owner

Whitney brings a unique combination of healthcare experience, leadership, and people-focused management to the family of companies she operates alongside her husband, Cody Barrs. A registered nurse by trade, Whitney earned her undergraduate degree in Nursing from the University of Florida before completing graduate school at Jacksonville University, where she earned a Master’s degree in Leadership and Administration.

Her background has shaped her strengths in communication, organization, leadership, and managing people—skills that have become invaluable in the day-to-day operations of the business. 

Whitney works side-by-side with Cody in the daily management and operations of Barrs Plumbing, A&B Well Drilling and Pump Services, and Bryant’s Pump and Well Drilling Service. Together, they oversee a growing team dedicated to serving the water and plumbing needs of customers throughout North Central Florida. 

Whitney is committed to helping build organizations that customers and employees can depend on—focusing on quality workmanship, dependable service, strong communication, and comprehensive solutions.

Jessica Kennedy

CAO

Jessica began her career with Barrs Plumbing in 2022 as the Office Manager, joining the company during an important period of growth. From the beginning, Jessica played a key role in establishing the office, building a strong administrative team, and streamlining procedures and systems that created greater efficiency and organization throughout the company. Her work helped create a solid foundation that allowed the owners to step back from the day-to-day administrative demands and focus more on growing the business.

Today, Jessica serves as the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of The Barrs Incorporated Companies, overseeing the administrative, financial, and daily operational infrastructure for Barrs Plumbing, A&B Well Drilling & Pump Services, and Bryant’s Pump & Well Drilling Services.

Jessica works closely with the owners and management teams to align operational goals, provide clear and accurate data, strengthen internal processes, and ensure the company has the structure and support needed to make informed decisions quickly and confidently. She takes a hands-on approach to creating systems that improve accountability, efficiency, communication, and overall performance. 

Through her leadership, organization, and commitment to continuous improvement, Jessica continues to help build the infrastructure that supports the long-term success and growth of The Barrs Incorporated Companies.

Jason Land

CEO

With more than 20 years of dedicated service to the Barrs Inc. companies, Jason brings extensive industry knowledge, leadership experience, and a deep understanding of the company’s operations to his role as Chief Executive Officer.

Throughout his career, Jason has developed a strong background in plumbing operations, employee management, and organizational leadership. As CEO, he plays a key role in setting the strategic direction of the company, driving innovation, strengthening operational performance, and positioning all of the Barrs, Inc. Companies for continued growth and long-term success.

Known for his strategic mindset and results-driven leadership, Jason is committed to maintaining the high standards of quality, service, and professionalism that have built the Barrs Inc. reputation. His ability to lead and develop employees while identifying opportunities for improvement and growth continues to be instrumental in advancing the company’s mission and ensuring operational excellence across all areas of the organization.

Kyle Roberts

Field Operations Manger

Kyle serves as Field Operations Manager for Barrs Plumbing and CRB Investment Properties, specializing in new construction, remodels, and new construction repairs. With a lifetime of experience in the construction industry, he brings extensive hands-on knowledge, strong leadership, and practical problem-solving skills to every project.

In his role, Kyle leads and supports field crews while coordinating closely with builders, contractors, and other trade professionals to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. His ability to anticipate challenges, develop effective solutions, and keep projects moving forward makes him an important part of the company’s field operations.

Outside of work, Kyle enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling around the world.

Chase Barrs

Senior Project Manager

With more than 20 years of experience in the plumbing industry, Chase is a seasoned Senior Project Manager specializing in commercial plumbing construction. His extensive industry knowledge, strong leadership skills, and hands-on approach have contributed to the successful completion of complex projects from initial planning through final delivery.

Throughout his career, Chase has developed expertise in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and client relations. He is skilled at managing multiple priorities while maintaining a strong focus on safety, efficiency, quality, and schedule performance.

In his time away from the jobsite, Chase enjoys duck hunting and watching the Florida Gators play baseball.

Colton Sheppard

Project Manager

Colton serves as a Project Manager specializing in residential new construction plumbing, overseeing projects from initial planning and coordination through completion. With a strong understanding of plumbing systems and the construction process, he works closely with builders, contractors, field teams, and other trade professionals to ensure projects remain on schedule while meeting company standards for quality and workmanship.

Known for his ability to lead teams, solve challenges, and build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and industry partners, Colton plays an integral role in ensuring each project is completed to the highest standards. His attention to detail, strong communication skills, and commitment to excellence make him a valuable leader within our residential new construction division.

Outside of work, Colton enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, and playing baseball with his sons.
